The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing professional to partner with operational leaders across multiple NSW sites (south/west side). This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being in the field, building relationships and influencing positive safety outcomes at site level.
Reporting to the Regional HSW Manager, you’ll play a key role in strengthening safety capability, embedding critical risk controls and driving continuous improvement across day-to-day operations.
You’ll work closely with frontline teams to coach leaders, support investigations, deliver training and ensure practical safety systems are applied consistently across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with site leaders to improve safety performance and wellbeing outcomes
- Deliver HSW programs, initiatives and critical risk control activities
- Conduct site audits, inspections, risk assessments and task observations
- Lead incident and hazard investigations, including regulator notifications where required
- Coach and mentor frontline leaders to strengthen safety capability
- Support implementation of the HSW strategic plan across NSW operations
- Analyse safety data and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Deliver engaging training and toolbox sessions to operational teams
- Maintain compliance with WHS legislation, systems based on ISO 45001 and internal standards
- Min. Diploma in Work Health & Safety or higher qualification
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and contemporary risk management practices
- Previous experience in operational safety partnering roles
- Confident influencing leaders and engaging with frontline workforces
- Comfortable working across multiple sites in a hands-on environment
- Experience within healthcare, community services, logistics, warehousing or similar sectors will be highly regarded
- ICAM, Lead Auditor or Cert IV TAE qualifications are advantageous
