Role Overview: The successful candidate will lead health and safety activities, ensuring the well-being of employees and fostering a culture of safety. Responsibilities include coaching leaders, managing safety systems, leading incident investigations, and overseeing facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure zero harm to employees.
  • Maintain knowledge of health, safety, and well-being requirements.
  • Coach leaders in safety management.
  • Communicate safety issues and alerts.
  • Report on health and safety objectives and statistics.
  • Drive safety leadership programs.
  • Manage safety platforms, policies, and systems.
  • Lead incident investigations and safety audits.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and improvements.
  • Develop emergency response plans and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand health and safety laws.
  • Experience in health and safety management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyse safety data and trends.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in health and safety (essential).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
