An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead WHS strategy and transformation across the Australian and New Zealand operations of a leading manufacturing organisation.

This is more than a compliance role. With a strong focus on change management, culture and leadership capability, you will partner with senior and operational leaders to build a proactive safety culture and strengthen WHS systems, frameworks and standards.

The Role
You will:

• Lead and evolve the WHS strategy
• Drive safety culture and change initiatives across the business
• Partner with leaders to strengthen safety ownership and accountability
• Enhance WHS systems, frameworks, governance and standards
• Coach and develop operational leaders and site safety resources
• Identify and manage key operational risks
• Ensure strong WHS compliance across Australia and New Zealand

About You
You are an influential safety leader who can operate from the factory floor through to senior leadership and knows how to bring people along on a change journey.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related discipline
• Senior safety leadership experience within manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience in safety transformation and cultural change
• Strong WHS, risk and governance knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder influencing and coaching capability
• A practical, commercially minded approach to safety
