About the Company
You will be working for a Company with talented people in the medical and scientific fields.

About the Role 
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the State OHS Manager, engaging with the operations team to facilitate audits, training and compliance activities to the Victorian site-based and mobile teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively drive consistent OHS standards and procedures. 
  • Communicate OHS information and consult with employees.
  • Deliver training and development capability and mindsets to improve OHS outcomes.
  • Coaching on manual handling and other company training as required
  • Proactively assist managers to implement the company's safety management system, negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard identification and implement controls with the operations team.
  • Assist with incident triage and investigations along with control measures.
  • Report on positive performance indicators and metrics.
  • Coordinate injury management, liaise with medical providers, and others as necessary.
To be great you will require:
  • Cert IV in OHS or higher. 
  • Cert IV in TAE
  • Strong relationship management with internal/external stakeholders
  • A hands-on approach and enjoy getting out in the business. 
  • Ability to respond quickly, use initiative and seek out solid solutions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
  • Strong Knowledge of WHS & RTW legislation
