Currently, we are seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to support the on-road technicians and corporate staff.

Position Summary:
As the WHS Manager, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with safety management systems, promoting a culture of safety, and enhancing operational safety awareness.

Your responsibilities will include conducting WHS system reviews, overseeing SWMS, training, and inductions, leading incident investigations, performing risk assessments and safety inspections, managing workers' compensation and return to work experiences, and implementing wellbeing initiatives.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic safety measures.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 4+ years of industry experience in facility management or related fields
  • Extensive background in risk management, incident investigation, and root cause analysis
  • Profound understanding of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Certified Return to Work Coordinator
  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Proven ability to drive safety education initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach
