Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced WorkCover Administrator to join our client's team. The WorkCover Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing workers' compensation claims and related administrative tasks for our organisation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with WorkCover regulations and provide support to our employees throughout the claims process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process workers' compensation claims, including filing, documentation, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers, medical professionals, and legal representatives as needed.
  • Monitor the progress of claims and provide regular updates to management and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with WorkCover regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to workers' compensation claims.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to minimise workplace injuries and promote employee safety.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees throughout the claims process, including facilitating return-to-work programs.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare or social services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of WorkCover regulations and procedures.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software and applications.
