WorkCover Claims Advisor – Contract
Experienced WorkCover Claims Specialist managing workers' compensation claims end-to-end in a three-month hybrid contract based in South Melbourne.
- Previous workers' compensation Agent experience is essential
- Contract period full time for 3 months
- Based in South Melbourne office with opportunity to work from home 2 days pw
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage a portfolio of claims end-to-endSetting up claims in Solv Injury
- Self-Insurance experience preferred but not essential
- Initiating payment of invoices
- Creating new vendors in their system
- Arranging IMEs and sending letters to workers and IMEs with relevant paperwork
- Requesting treater reports
- Addressing account enquiries
- Working out PIAWE and administering payroll
- Assisting with strategies depending on level of experience
- Previous Agent experience essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant software programs and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good understanding of workers rehabilitation and compensation legislation is desirable
